About Crestron
Crestron was founded by George Feldstein in 1972 after he graduated from New York University with a master’s in electronic engineering. Starting with no money, four kids, a mortgage, and a Dodge Dart in a room above Crestkill Delicatessen in New Jersey, Feldstein built what would become one of the most respected names in professional audiovisual technology.
In 2022, Crestron celebrated its 50th anniversary, marking five decades of continuous innovation. George Feldstein holds 14 patents and received awards from InfoComm International and the New Jersey Inventors Hall of Fame for his contributions to the AV industry. Though Feldstein passed away in 2014, his legacy of innovation continues under the leadership of his son Dan Feldstein, who currently serves as President and CEO.

Crestron Sightline: Revolutionary Hybrid Meeting Experience
Crestron Sightline assembles core Crestron platforms including Crestron Flex Digital Workplace Technologies, DigitalMedia Content Distribution, and Control and Management to create the ideal meeting experience by promoting natural conversation, meeting equity, and enhanced collaboration.
Sightline Design Principles
Crestron Sightline accomplishes key principles: makes it easier for attendees to engage in the flow of meetings, displays views of entire rooms while simultaneously framing individual speakers using intelligent cameras and AI-driven video software, removes the cognitive element of knowing where to look, and increases visibility of remote attendees.
Core Sightline Technologies
Multi-Camera Intelligent Video: 1 Beyond AutoTracker tracks presenters so they can move freely, 1 Beyond AutoFramer frames participants as the focal point, and 1 Beyond PTZ cameras provide dedicated video for each participant. The system employs AI-driven automated switching that follows conversations naturally, providing broadcast-quality meeting experiences.
Multiple Display Strategy: Remote participants are displayed on screens strategically positioned within the line of sight of in-room attendees, eliminating the disconnect between watching a screen and engaging with colleagues. This creates natural interaction and ensures remote participants feel present in the room.
Wireless Content Sharing: Crestron AirMedia enables instant wireless presentation from any device, allowing participants to share content effortlessly without cables or complex setup.
Environmental Control: Integrated lighting, shading, and temperature control create optimal room conditions. Occupancy sensors automatically activate systems when people enter, and scene management delivers one-touch configuration for different meeting types.
DM NVX: Enterprise AV-Over-IP Content Distribution
DM NVX AV-over-IP technology combines video, audio, USB, and control on a single platform to reliably distribute anything across your entire network in real time at the highest quality and security standards.
